Getaways Discoveries was founded by Chilean entrepreneur, graffiti artist, blind-tasting sommelier, professional tour leader, and veteran guide Al Ramirez.

For nearly two decades, Al has built experiences around one simple idea: travel should be about participation, not observation.

That means wandering neighborhoods instead of following umbrellas. Learning the stories behind a mural from an artist. Understanding a wine from the vineyard rather than the label.
