Chile, Po'!

What is a "Chile"? Is it Spicy? Is It a bit Cold? Do you have TexMex Cook-offs?
We've heard them all.

What is Chile?
Chile is a long, narrow country stretching along the southwestern edge of South America (it's as if you took a measuring tape, and stretched it from San Diego, CA to Portland, Maine, or from Perth to Cairns), bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Andes Mountains to the east. Known for its dramatic landscapes—from the world’s driest desert in the north to glaciers in the south—Chile is a land of contrast, culture, and deep-rooted traditions. Its cities pulse with art and history, its coastlines offer world-class seafood, and its valleys produce some of the world’s most celebrated wines. Chile is as diverse in geography as it is in people, with a strong sense of national identity and a growing presence on the global tourism stage.
